We are thrilled to announce the opening of a second TimberNook location in Dracut, MA. The Dracut site will be offering a new school year program and parents are raving about it:

This is a registration drop off class that meets to sing songs, read stories, and have unstructured free play in the woods. Kids will learn to negotiate the natural fine and gross motor challenges presented in nature. They will have opportunities to work together to achieve goals and begin the basics of conflict resolution. The theme of the week will change but your child will consistently come home messy and happy.

Class meets Mondays and Wednesdays from September 9, 2024 through June 11, 2025. This is a 4 hour program meeting 1-2 times a week from 9:30am-1:30pm.

TimberNook Middlesex County has been running year-round since August of 2019, providing nature-based, child-led play experiences that challenge the senses and inspire creativity, independence, and imagination in the great outdoors for children of ALL abilities. Under Director of Sherry Kenin, OT, MS, OTR, children thrive, grow, and return each year to participate in all that TimberNooks offers. Parents are just as enthralled with the program: “My girls had a blast playing in the woods, they came home bursting with fun stories about their adventures! It was great to hear about the kids taking risks, trying new things and being creative.” Katie P. , parent of child attending the Sudbury program
