The following press release was submitted by Minute Man Arc:

Minute Man Arc has partnered with the Stow Community Chest for decades, but this year the Chest has gone above and beyond their typical generosity by providing critical COVID-19 relief funding to help people with disabilities.

Grants for emergency food, personal protective equipment and touchless bathroom faucets at program sites have enabled Minute Man Arc to better fight the pandemic and protect clients from the virus. Currently, 65 Stow children and adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities are served by Minute Man Arc.

The residents of Stow have stepped up their giving to the Community Chest in providing much needed emergency funding for nonprofits like Minute Man Arc.

“We are grateful to everyone connected to the Stow Community Chest for helping us protect some of the most vulnerable citizens of Stow with emergency provisions,” said Minute Man Arc CEO Jean Goldsberry. “Your generosity and leadership speak volumes about the character of Stow and how neighbors are helping neighbors through the pandemic.”
