Extra Steps Pediatric Therapies will bring the same level of programming to children with disabilities, ages 3 to 8, beginning Jan. 29.
The multidisciplinary program is located in Concord and offers one-on-one physical, occupational, speech and language therapies, as well as feeding and nutrition support. Programs in deaf education and Applied Behavior Analysis are also available. A social skills program will be added in February.
“Minute Man Arc is thrilled to offer the first-of-its-kind pediatric program for children with physical, social and developmental disabilities,” said Jean Goldsberry, CEO. “We will be applying over 40 years of experience in working with very young children to a new age cohort of 3 to 8 who will benefit from therapies beyond what the public school system can provide.”
Extra Steps Pediatric Therapies has assembled a team of therapists who evaluate each child and then collaborate across disciplines to develop personalized treatment plans. Therapeutic models will be specific to a child’s age and developmental needs.
