In 1958, Minute Man was founded by a group of parents trying to provide services for their children. Over decades, parents and family members have been involved in helping the organization grow and expand its services. We owe a debt of gratitude to those intrepid parents who, fueled by love, fought and won a far better life for people with intellectual disabilities of all ages. Today, with Minute Man’s help and support, our loved ones work, learn, live, and socialize in our communities.

The Family Advisory Council of Minute Man Arc seeks to continue the active involvement of family members in maintaining and improving the options in our communities for people with disabilities. We are asking for your help. Please join us on February 26th at 6pm. We want to get as many families represented as possible as we ask: ‘What programs, organizations, events, has your family member with disabilities accessed in your community? How has it worked out? What other options would you like to see?’

We can work together and have fun doing it. Even if you cannot attend that evening, send us an e-mail and we will keep you informed of our next steps and activities.
